The Vice President of Digital Transformation/Chief Information Officer (VPDT/CIO) is the senior executive responsible for the strategic digital vision, planning, and management of the digital and institutional research resources of the college. The VPDT/CIO is a member of the senior management team that is responsible for the successful implementation and advancement of Integrated Planning and Resource Allocation (IPRA). The VPDT/CIO leads the Information Services division efforts in meeting the college’s strategic priorities through connecting digital investments to enterprise KPI’s in order to achieve digital transformation.

Through a managed services framework the VP of Digital Transformation/CIO is responsible for the development of the enterprise digital strategy. This position manages, coordinates and facilitates the long-range planning and daily operations of the college’s overall technology, research and institutional effectiveness environment including the digital sector consisting of mobile applications, social media, and web based information management. The VPDT/CIO is responsible for college-wide information technology and services that includes ERP applications (Banner), portal development, computing, data and telecommunications networks, online learning, multimedia services, web services, research and institutional effectiveness, data analysis and reporting. The VPDT/CIO is responsible for providing planning and coordination services for the use of specialized instructional technologies to ensure that these technologies effectively operate within the overall college technology environment.

Demonstrated vision and initiative, together with excellent management, planning, budgeting, communication and organizational skills in a managed services information technology environment.
Strong interpersonal skills. Collaborative approach to problem solving. Ability to function with a high degree of autonomy and freedom. Five years strategic planning, management and budgeting experience in a multi-faceted technology based environment. Experience leading an Information Services team in a managed services/ITIL environment.
Prior experience leading an enterprise digital transformation initiative.

Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Education or related field. ITIL Foundation certification (or completion of certification after employment).
