12 Month Part-Time Student Success Advocate

Cayuga Community College is seeking applications for 12 month part-time Student Success Advocate.

The Student Success Advocate supports College efforts to ease students' transition to college and increase retention and completion rates. Advocates will serve as an academic advisor to students throughout their enrollment experience. Cohorts of at-risk students are identified and served, to reduce withdrawal and failure rates. Intrusive advisement strategies, including student tracking, monitoring, support, outreach, and advocacy will be implemented.

This is a 12 month, part-time position (approximately 29 hours per week).

Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in psychology, student affairs, or counseling preferred; Familiarity with the mission of community colleges required. Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and a positive attitude required.

Experience providing college-level academic advisement and course registration preferred

$32, 000-$35,000.00
